Left photo 22mths, right 27mths. Ch Magnufi Dante is a wonderful boy! Pictures taken 22-30mths of age (right hand photo, and cover at 4yrs). He was the 1996 Eukanuba Spring Fair's Best in Group winner and Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show. Dante put the breed in the spotlight in Australia. The number one Mastino in 1997, and was the all time top winner for the breed - now Toscano has that honour for number of wins... Dante still holds for single significant win. During 1997-8 he was away filming "Babe, Pig in the City" playing the part of "Alan". His beautiful expression and wonderful character landed him the part above all other mastino. Thank you to Karl-Lewis Miller and George Miller for appreciating my baby! A powerful companion and guard, a formidable show dog, he was my soulmate and constant companion. And AGAIN he is chosen out of all the mastino in the country to represent his breed, the international publication "National Dog" used DANTE for their Feb 99 cover. Gone from us in body, but never in spirit. A great mastino.
